WASHINGTON, TX – Emergency responders from DC Fire and EMS were called to the scene of a crash with serious injuries last Friday.
The collision transpired in 2400 block of East Capitol Street Northeast, near the intersection with 19th Street.
Police say a vehicle collided with a tree, trapping one individual.
Firefighters employed extraction techniques to free the trapped person, who was then transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A second individual involved in the crash received medical attention but was subsequently released.
