WASHINGTON, DC – Police are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run in northwest D.C. that left two people injured on Monday.
Police say a vehicle was operating as a Lyft when it was hit by another car near the intersection of 11th Street and Florida Avenue at about noon.
A woman riding as a passenger in the Lyft was rushed to an area hospital in critical condition. The driver was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect involved in the crash fled the scene on foot before officers arrived. It is unclear at this time if any arrests have been made.
