WASHINGTON, DC – A man in a wheelchair was rushed to the hospital following a hit-and-run in southeast Washington DC on Friday.
Police say the victim, an unidentified man, was struck in the area of Southern Avenue and 13th Street at about 3:15 a.m.
Paramedics transported the man to a local hospital in critical condition.
The vehicle involved is believed to be a Honda with damage to its front end. It is unclear if any arrests have been made at this time.
