WASHINGTON, D.C. – A manager from the popular D.C. nightclub Park and 14th, is currently recovering in an ICU after being involved in a hit-and-run collision while riding a Lime scooter over the weekend.
Police say 29-year-old Stephen Grasty was riding on 14th Street Southwest around 4 a.m. Sunday morning when he was hit by an unspecified vehicle.
Grasty, known for his involvement in a D.C. safety pedestrian campaign in 2013, was rushed to a local hospital in serious condition.
A witness to the crash followed the suspect vehicle; however, it is unclear whether any arrests have been made at this time.
