WASHINGTON D.C. – A pedestrian went to the hospital last Sunday afternoon after a vehicle struck them along a major roadway on the far-east side of Washington D.C.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue between 44th Street Northeast and 49th Street Northeast.
It’s not yet clear what caused the vehicle to hit the pedestrian, who sustained injuries of unknown severity.
The white SUV involved in the crash left the scene of the accident.
