PRINCE GEORGE’S CO., WA – One person died Thursday in a crash along a major roadway in northwestern Prince George’s County.
The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. on Landover Road near Route 50, which is just southeast of Hyattsville.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the crash, except to say that it resulted in fatal injuries for a motorcyclist. It’s unclear if other vehicles were involved, and authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Officials closed Landover Road in the vicinity of the crash for around seven hours while crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
