LEESBURG, VA – A teen died Friday, and six others sustained injuries in a two-vehicle crash involving an ambulance in the city of Leesburg.
The accident happened after 9 p.m. at the intersection of East Market Street and the Leesburg Bypass, which is just west of Leesburg Premium Outlets.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the accident, but they say a 2017 Honda Accord carrying at least four people collided with an ambulance carrying two employees and a patient.
A teen from the Honda died at the scene of the crash.
Medics transported three others from the Honda and all three occupants of the ambulance to the hospital with serious injuries.
